With her powerful voice, her talent for dancing, her grace and charisma, Olga has earned the applause of the public in the most important theaters, concert halls and arenas from her native Puerto Rico to Latin America, Spain and the United States, establishing herself as one of the most popular Latina artists.
With millions of copies sold around the world, Olga is a talent that is here to stay. Her interpretation of genres that range from merengue, ballad, pop and salsa, make her a complete artist like few others.
In 2001, she became the first Puerto Rican artist to receive the statuette from the Academy of Arts and Sciences for her double album Olga viva, viva Olga. in 2002, she was the first Latin female artist to win the Grammy for two consecutive years. That same year she received the Billboard Award for Best Merengue Album for Yo por ti.
